His Holiness Sri Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Sri Raghaveshwara Bharati Swamiji is the present Samsthana (head) of Sri Ramachandrapura Math, situated on the bank of River Sharavathi at Hosanagar Taluk, Shimoga District of Karnataka State. The Matha belongs to the Advaitha Path of Sri Adiguru Shankaracharya, established by himself at Gokarna at his time. This Matha has an unbroken line of Gurus till today, though the place was later shifted to the present place.

Sri Swamiji is the thirty sixth Guru of this Peetham, and is well known throughout the world for knowledge, teaching, inspiration, organizing skill, leadership and action. The ‘Ramayana Satram’, and ‘Vishwagou Sammelanam’ held at Ramachandrapura Matha, ‘Bharatiya Gou yatra’ travelled across Karnataka, ‘Koti Neeraajanam’ held at Bangalore – bear witness to his leadership and organizing skill. He has launched several plans for the religion and social upliftment of the people. His devotion to God Sri Rama, Sri Chandramaulishwar, Sri Raja Rajeshwari, Goumatha, and Bharatmatha is praiseworthy and inspiring others. Has a lot of devotees, admirers, well wishers and followers throughout the country and world.
